What you’ll do
- Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio, and qualifying new leads to maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel for future sales
- Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on assigned products in assigned territory
- Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive product sales
- Represent Cytiva and function as a primary customer point of contact in all allocated accounts and in the territory for CDMO and Biotech customer segments.
- Expand the business, gain market share, and grow sales & order at expected margins. Achieve annual/quarterly targets through successful promotion of all business technologies and capabilities within all modalities which are relevant to this account.
- Provide technical support, leveraging technical specialists where needed, aligned with customer workflows and activities to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed the customers’ expectations.
- Identify opportunities and support team in developing opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a full understanding of the Cytiva value proposition and a high-level knowledge of competitive products and services
- Prospecting, forecasting, generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, initiating, and planning customer visits at all levels of the customer organization
- Negotiating master agreements and contracts, including terms and conditions as well as facilitating tender responses to customers from the account, in conjunction with product sales specialists as needed.
- Accountable for overall account success, and growth, leveraging Cytiva customer account team.
- Accountable to drive overall design-in account strategies, aligned with Sales Specialists on technical Design in projects.

Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, life sciences or relevant field.
- 5 years commercial experience, preferably in the Biotechnology industry.
- QlikSense or Sales Force
- Sales technique including cross selling, upselling, value positions and funnel management.
- Business market knowledge.
- Ability to translate technical advantages into business benefits.
- DBS growth tools.
