Associate Project Manager - Motor/Generator

In this role you will drive the formal acceptance of the project by the customer, maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project for Motion Business Area in Seoul, South Korea.

This position reports to

Technical Consulting Manager II

Your responsibilities

• Assisting the Project Controls department to define all project documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans
• Monitoring and controlling project progress, resources and financials
• Identifying, and managing risks, while ensuring that all opportunities are identified and pursued
• Coordinating with the Procurement and Logistics team to procure required services, materials and equipment
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as a contact point for customer enquiries and an escalation point for project issues

Your background

• A bachelor's degree, major in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or any equivalent qualification
• 2 - 5 years working experience as project management in Motor/Generator/Drives and EPC project would be preferred
• Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, schedules and vendors/subcontractors
• Managing many projects simultaneously with many internal and external interfaces
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Industry recognized scheduling certification would be preferred (e.g. APM, PMI-SP, PMP)
• Understanding electrical circuit and Physical law of motion
• Business level in verbal and written English
