The Position
As Clinical Contract Specialist, you will play a key role in the optimization of our site activation process by ensuring an effective contract negotiation strategy.
You will become our Subject Matter Expert for Contracts Management matters in Spain.
Your main accountabilities will be :
Identify and proactively engage with investigators, site staff and hospital administration to define and implement an optimal Clinical Trial Agreements process, terms, and timeliness.
Elaborate strong networking with internal and external stakeholders to align processes with business needs
Responsible for operational management of clinical contracts and budget processes across Spain / Portugal in accordance with local legislation and NN compliance.
Review and development of contract & budget templates, and site-specific files and databases.
Provides functional guidance and regular updated to internal external teams on contract statuses or pending issues.
Analyse and reflect on current processes and ways of working, propose changes and ideas to improve and maximize our efficiency.
Challenge the status-quo
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in Life Science / Law
Experience in Clinical Contracts Management within a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Process oriented with strong attention to detail, however maintaining a global view of the whole clinical trial chain.
Proactivity and capacity to generate change and drive for excellence.
Fluent English and Spanish .
About The Department
You will join our newly Start-up team, a group of specialised and dedicated professionals aimed to provide a strong performance of feasibility and contracts processes.
Beyond this team, you will be part of a broader unit named CDC (Clinical Development Center) that covers Spain, France and Portugal.
As part of this team you will get to collaborate with a wide range of colleagues such as CRAs, Trial Managers, CTAs, Feasibility Managers and other cross-functional departments.
