About the role

As Clinical Specialist reporting to our Clinical Manager MDS Iberia, you’ll operate across our Medication Delivery Solutions portfolio to support the implementation of our Iberia marketing strategy related to the MDS Portfolio.

The Clinical Team provides key scientific and technical support to the business. In this position, the Clinical Specialist will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the relevant scientific fields, BD Clinical services and products, and efficiently leverage this to advance a sales opportunity;

prepare, present and demonstrate technical aspects of solutions as they relate directly to customer needs. You will cover Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón, País Vasco, Cantabria and Asturias.

Main responsibilities will include :

  • Provide general scientific & technical customer support to the Iberian customer base and to the sales and marketing teams.
  • Planning of the trainings in the territory. Facilitate advanced training on best practices to key accounts.
  • Lead locally product conversions and management of the clinical affairs of new launches
  • Compose and review clinical papers, posters, articles, oral presentations related to the use of MDS products and field of MDS expertise.
  • Act as consultant for customers in order to improve or simplify their own internal processes.

About you

Educated to Degree level in Nursing, the ideal candidate will have clinical skills in the field of vascular access, be able to demonstrate a successful record in training healthcare professionals which will include the implementation of new products, able to identify new opportunities whilst maintaining excellent customer relations within established accounts and develop key opinion leaders and able to work closely with members of the sales and marketing teams to deliver training and assist in meeting key opinion leaders. You’ll also bring :

  • University degree in Nursing.
  • High level of English.
  • Proven track to work in a sophisticated environment with a multitude of geographically spread partners.
  • Hardworking, enthusiastic, resilient. Ability to work autonomously, and be capable of independently generating, prioritizing and completing work.
  • Able to demonstrate effective territory and time leadership skills.
