Are you an enthusiastic, hands-on individual near the start of your CRM journey and looking for your next role where you can make a considerable impact while working across multiple engagement channels and markets?

We’re looking for someone who has a couple of years of experience in CRM, who’s enjoying building campaigns and customer audiences and is looking for that next exciting and expansive role, starting from reviewing the brief through to building out the audience and creative campaign, and finally analyzing and presenting the campaign performance

This role will be working collaboratively with the team in Barcelona, but also liaising frequently with multiple markets and teams to produce EMEA wide campaigns, sending to over 1 million Avis Budget Group customers.

The CRM Specialist will have the following responsibilities :

  • You will build class-leading CRM campaigns for our customers that delivers benefit for the business and for our customers : Review briefs from local markets and other marketing teams and discuss requirements with the requester to produce the campaign as expected Identify the necessary audiences within our data, or work with our CRM Technical Specialist to create required segments Produce the HTML campaign, including using dynamic content to deliver personalised and segmented content, and create variants for multiple markets QA the campaign and send to the requester for sign off, review any requested changes, and make the amends Deploy campaigns to over 1 million Avis Budget Group customers
  • You will show campaign effectiveness with reporting : Build campaign reports off the back of broadcast campaigns Contribute to weekly and monthly campaign reports, which will be shared with the team and more widely in the marketing department Draw insight from A / B test analysis to drive follow up campaigns to be even more effective based on statistically significant results, or recommend further testing where results aren’t as clear Record database volumes alongside campaign results to identify trends and to benchmark effectiveness
  • You will work collaboratively with other CRM team members to maintain our database : Processing opt-outs to ensure we keep our database clean and don’t contact customers who’ve asked to be removed Using our data validation tool, Validity, ensure we remove customers who are invalid from our sends by flagging and reporting any back to our database Use our data models to identify customers not opening emails and look at re-engagement campaigns or limiting sends

Qualities sought

  • Sleeves-up approach to tasks, willing to get into the CRM system and make the most of the functionality available
  • Methodically-minded to review a task and identify the requirements, processes, and any required support
  • Strong time management to deliver campaigns to agreed deadlines
  • Confidence and ability to request clarifications or explain constraints where needed
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure campaigns meet the brief and to avoid errors or issues
  • Keen to work with multiple teams across multiple markets
  • Happy to work in a team, but also self-motivated to work alone with limited supervision
  • Willingness to ask questions to increase understanding
  • Fluent in English & Spanish

Experience

  • Must have 2+ years’ experience in building Email marketing campaigns with CRM and be familiar with automation and dynamic content.
  • Experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be a plus.
  • Proficient with HTML and Amp Script
  • Understanding of core CRM principles and procedures
  • Good level of Excel and PowerPoint experience for producing reporting
  • Experience working across multiple channels (SMS, Push, Whats App, etc.) would be beneficial
  • Experience with SQL and big data would be beneficial
  • Experience of A / B testing would be beneficial
  • Experience of working with multiple teams and markets would be beneficial
