Beckman Coulter Diagnostics Customer Technical Support provides excellent support to our customers while installing and maintaining diagnostic instrumentation and systems in hospitals and stand-alone laboratory environments. You'll be the face of Beckman Coulter to customers and support them, directly impacting patient health and overall well-being.
As a Customer Technical Supportteam member, you will be part of the Customer Care Organization and work with the Regional Manager. Provide frontline support by resolving customer(s) problems and issues through technical expertise and troubleshooting. You will help drive revenue growth while ensuring strong customer contract retention rates and warranty conversion. Apply critical thinking to resolve instrumentation performance issues, train our customers and verify the operational performance and data quality of systems. You'll be a key member to help drive customer satisfaction and retention.
The Customer Technical Support operates independently within their geographic territory, however we operate as a team to share standard methodologies, mentor, and receive expert technical support. You'll be classified as a remote worker and be provided with a company car, mobile phone and laptop. You will be required to travel within the region to support customers using your technical expertise with overnight stays as needed.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Develop and build knowledge to understand the industry, the company, the products, tools, and the team. This is supported with a clear Development Pathway program as part our culture to develop and grow our teams
Be supported by a strong leadership team, involved in keys projects to deliver successful installations for our customers that meet their requirements and that of our company
Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment
Support laboratory systems in the field of clinical diagnostics and automation. You'll partner with the customer not only on technical issues, but how to maximize the instrument's usage.
Develop your project management skills in the context of installation projects.
Provide excellent and efficient support to Beckman Coulter’s customers, along with technical training
Accompany the digital transformation and contribute your IT knowledge to installation projects and internal projects
Maintain customer support logs and internal records in a timely manner, ordering parts and adhering to cycle times
Work closely with our sales and office staff, provide consultancy to our customers on preventive maintenance, service contracts and equipment solutions
Develop critical approach supported by DBS tools
Requirements of the job include:
University degree (technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or/and validated equivalent experience.
Hold a current valid driver’s license. Associates who drive Beckman Coulter vehicles will follow the Danaher Company Vehicle Policy.
Fluent in Spanish and English
Good IT knowledge - familiar with IT infrastructure: enjoy setting up and managing networks, servers, firewalls, interfaces
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, and/or electronic medical equipment, IT repair experience in laboratory, as a Field Service Engineer or Biomedical Engineer.
