What you’ll do

  • Driving the 3PL teams to meet defined KPI’s, business goals & objectives and Ensure stability in warehouse operations
  • Lead the discussions with Customer service teams to plan and execute shipments, identify improvement opportunities, and implement changes.
  • Aligns closely and strategically with cross functional teams & cross regional teams to improve fulfillment lead time, drive deflation, and reduce logistics risk, ensure operational excellence & compliance
  • Challenge existing ways of working using Lean tools to drive higher operational efficiencies.
  • Prepare & Report out on business reviews and drive solutions for the distribution of products.
  • Lead regular monthly, quarterly business reviews with stakeholders and logistics suppliers/partners
  • Lead and manage transportation cost, spend analysis, initial cost saving opportunities and drive implementations
  • Lead and manage regional war rooms with the customer service teams to ensure customer order fulfilment for critical and priority customer orders
  • Implementing and maintaining metrics, internal self-audits & processes to ensure adherence to customs, Cytiva export requirements.
  • Be the single point of contact for the logistics and transportation operations escalations and responsible for being audit ready (Quality, EHS, Security, Business Continuity audits)
  • Own and manage the transportation operations quality performance. Drive root cause analysis with 3PL quality teams and ensure no repeat defects
  • Drive continuous productivity & compliance improvements
  • Ensuring that operations requirements for AEO / CTPAT / equivalent certification are implemented and sustained

Who you are

  • Minimum of 6 years in Operational environment of Distribution, Logistics or Transportation Management
  • Solid communications and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to execute, multi-task, and deliver on commitments
  • Effective problem solving, root cause analytical skills.
  • Experience of improvement work using LEAN
  • Bachelor degree (or High School Diploma and a minimum of 6 operations experience), project management experience
