The role is responsible for developing and continuously improving the demand management processes for Sales & Operations Planning.
At the same time, the Demand Manager supports the regional functions to achieve outstanding results.
The position is available for a limited period of 1.5 years and should preferably be based in Hamburg, but could also be based in any other bigger European Health & Medical office.
Your Role
Lead global demand planning community for our Business Unit Health & Medical and actively drive continuous development in collaboration with the Global Demand Excellence Director as well as the regional and local demand planning teams
Manage the S&OP demand planning consolidation and review process and closely collaborate with key stakeholders in business logistics, finance, manufacturing and supply chain;
represent BU Health Medical demand planning in Executive S&OP meetings
Inspire, motivate and engage people to achieve outstanding results and act as network leader for demand planners as well as key users and actively drive developing and sharing business best practice
Set and monitor key performance indicators and diagnostics to ensure continuous forecast improvement efforts and achievement of agreed goals
Collaborate closely with product management teams to participate and facilitate launch planning as well as phase-in and phase-out processes
Manage and support demand planning projects and initiatives across regions and BUs

University degree or equivalent within relevant practice
In-depth knowledge of demand planning, forecasting and S&OP with multiple years of relevant working experience preferably in a management position
Excellent networking, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to support and influence people across different disciplines, cultures and positions
Strong analytical and IT skills (MS Excel, SAP IBP / APO DP)
Holistic and customer-centric mindset to understand overarching needs and stakeholder perspectives to maximize impact
The passion to take strong ownership and ambitiously deliver on or beyond agreed goals and aspirations; Ability to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing with a winning attitude
