Electronic Board CAD Technician (F/H)

PCB Layout Technician for Backend Group.
This group is made up of 6 experienced engineers and technicians with expertise in RF signal processing, high-speed A/D conversion and FPGA board development. The team is responsible for hardware and software development of the electronics systems that convert antenna signals into digital datasets usable by IRAM astronomers.
Main Duties:
-Layout and routing of complex electronics boards in close relationship with design engineers and with the help of CAD software (knowledge of eCADSTAR is an asset and knowledge of Layout rules in RF electronics desirable).
-Management of component libraries and manufacturing files.
-Monitoring of subcontractors (procurement, PCB manufacturing and wiring assembling).
- Occasional assistance for system integration tests.
This position may involve occasional visits to the NOEMA observatory for equipment commissioning and maintenance.
Profile sought:
BTS/DUT diploma required
Experience in electronics board placement/routing
Ideally 5 years experience
Good understanding of technical notes in English.
