We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Embedded Software Engineer to take Loadsensing to the next level.

The mission :
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer responsible for the development and maintenance of our Loadsensing gateways and applications.
Your primary focus will be the development of our CMT edge product, which has both hardware and software components. You will be working along-side other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure.
Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Outcomes :
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
- Keep documentation up to date and delivered to quality standards
Requirements
- Experience in at least one high-level, object oriented programming language in different applications (Java, Python, PHP )
- Knowledge of linux, both user space and system levels (Knowledge of Bash scripting, Package manager system (ipkg, opkg).
- Experience working with embedded systems and resource constrained environments
- Good understanding of networking, systems and security concepts
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
Nice to Have :
- Experience in building real-time applications (C / C++, Rust, Golang)
- Previous experience with LPWAN protocols, ideally LoRa and LoRaWAN
- Knowledge of Bash scripting
- Experience working in Agile development following SCRUM process and sprints
- Engineering degree
- Have developed at least a similar product or application in the past
