Role and Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
The facilities coordinator is the ultimate organizer, making sure that a workplace meets the needs of employees by coordinating all the required services
You will be responsible to coordinate all services and processes that support the core business of an organization. Facilities coordinators make sure that an organization has the most suitable working environment for its employees and their activities.
Coordinators are involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises.
Areas of responsibility include :
- Arrange for regular maintenance of equipment and internal systems (e.g. heating system, alarms)
- Building and grounds maintenance;
- Cleaning;
- Catering and vending;
- General services;
- Procurement and contract management;
- Space management;
- Utilities and communications infrastructure.
All your daily tasks will generally focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
