The Work Flow IT Solution for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for delivering an exceptional technical hardware & software support for Beckman Coulter’s customers using our current and upcoming Workflow IT Solutions product lines. This position is part of Service Brazil located in Baueri, Sao Paulo - SP and will be a hybrid position. Getting the opportunity to be remote, in the office and at customers on-site. You will be a part of the Field Service Team and report to the Service Manager Brazil and IT Business Commercial  , this role will have the opportunity to translate your customers' workflow into IT solutions, generating tangible operational gains with high added value, will also have the opportunity to contribute to projects from conception to final delivery, and actively participating in new IT launches —read on.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide exceptional technical hardware & software support for Beckman Coulter’s customers using our current and upcoming Workflow IT Solutions (WITS) product lines.

  • Provide technical support via phone, email and in the field to engineers, technicians, and product support personnel by diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and debugging complex electro/mechanical equipment, computer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.

  • Assist Call Technical Specialists (CTS) in timely responses of customer queries and be accountable for the timely delivery of related product MODS.

  • Attend customer Managed Service reviews where required/advised and build strong relationships with key IT stakeholders within hospitals.

  • Respond to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strong knowledge of general IT aspects (Networking, Security, HL7, ASTM) and Server/Client relationship concepts and Laboratory Workflow: LIS, transportation device, middleware, instrument sampling, storage, archiving and reflexes/reruns/dilutions

  • Knowledge and understanding of laboratory practices, including a background knowledge of clinical chemistry/immunoassay or hematology combined with a sound understanding of quality expectations.

  • Experience in the Medical Diagnostics industry, Laboratory Biomedical experience preferable.

  • Experience of laboratory IT & ideally Automated solutions.

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 + years & Must be fluent in English language

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers.

  • Ability to work independently, with minimal direct supervision.

  • Ability to lead projects.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
