Key Responsibilities
The IT Buyer will be a key member of the IT &Telco Procurement and instrumental in the communication with suppliers.
Responsibilities will include :
The buyer will report to the Group IT & Telco manager based in Spain. Their responsibilities will be :
Execute global sourcing strategies for IT (SW) & Telco categories under his / her perimeter
Execution of group Procurement Plan, maximizing savings across countries involved
Ensure process and policy compliance in the IT categories
Gather specifications of products and services required by business areas
Lead tenders (RFPs), negotiations with suppliers, and supplier homologation and selection
Drafting contracts, and negotiating agreements with suppliers in coordination with Legal counsel and IT department
Increase spend managed by Procurement within the IT (SW) & Telecommunications categories
Lead market and spend analysis
Develop solutions that meet the organization needs and results
Identify and anticipate issues in the execution of the projects, identify and implement solutions, escalate as required
Identify risks and escalate them to manager
Follow risk mitigation actions & processes defined
Manage issues with suppliers, monitor periodically agreements and supplier evaluation, including monitor supplier performance in line with the scope of services agreed
Supporting the elaboration of the Group Procurement Plan
Propose and lead improvements in the Procurement department, processes and policies
Report as needed on all areas of responsibility
Interaction with the business areas and suppliers
Lead conversations with business areas to communicate, present and discuss the results of each of the stages of negotiation, in order to keep the business and suppliers informed of the activities and progress of each category.
Lead procurement conversations with suppliers as needed.
Advise the business of the supplier(s) to be selected and criteria.
Be a communication channel between business and suppliers.
Represent the business position with the suppliers to obtain the most appropriate proposals for the internal client.
Communicate results and progress of the negotiations

Experience and Qualifications
We are looking for a high potential / top performer individual who will have the opportunity to learn from a growing and succesful organization and have a real impact on the business .
Fluent English & Spanish. Being able to present and fluently negotiate in both languages
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience sourcing Software products and services as part of an international procurement team.
Experience with eProcurement tools (Ariba, Jaggaer, etc), and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
Advanced level on Microsoft Office. In particular Excel and PowerPoint.
Desirable : university Degree, preferably Graduate or Bachelor in IT or Engineering. Postgraduate degree is valued if related to the role
