Position Summary
The Junior Production Engineer will join the production team to support the optimization of our manufacturing process.
What will you do
- Create, update, and supervise production documentation materials (manufacturing drawings, procedures, test reports, etc.
- Improve our current quality control process by identifying the components' essential parts that need to be inspected and defining inspection methodology on a production scale.
- Provide technical support to Supply Chain on the purchase of electronic components.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain and providers by defining the critical parameters of the subcontracted process.
- Collaborate with the Engineering department to define documentation and validate manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support on the repairs of devices (mainly electronics)
- Support ISO 9001 and ISO13485 audits.
- Support the production manager in diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations.
- Support the production process's redesign for its time and cost optimization.
What do you need
Must-have
- Graduated in Industrial / Electronic engineering
- Data-driven.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Understanding of quality standards
- Electronics knowledge
- Proficiency in English at both oral and written levels
- Experience/knowledge in a medical device in the context of ISO 13485/ DGMP is a plus.
- Masters in Electronics
- Experience in ERP Odoo
- Experience in Lean manufacturing and six sigma methodologies
- Fluent in Spanish
