ABOUT THE ROLE
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The main duties are:
- Provide support on Group’s Corporate governance and housekeeping.
- Participating in and advising on national and international commercial transactions involving acquisitions and strategic alliances.
- Coordinate and collaborate with external professionals in the different matters related to the legal area.
- Communication and coordination with the different law firms and consultancies that provide us with services in the countries where we have offices.
- Provide GDPR compliance guidance and update all related legal documentation.
- Follow-up legal procedures and organization of intra-group operations and legal compliance.
- Draft and review all types of legal documents and agreements.
- Prepare signatures before notary's offices, file and monitor documents in various registers, both commercial and land registers.
- Respond to queries and needs of the different departments of the group.
- Stay up to date with legislation and/or compliance matters.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master´s Degree in Law or Double Degree in Law and Business Admin.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in an international consultancy or law firm.
- A Master's degree in commercial law will be a plus.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Advanced level of English. Knowledge of German, French, or other languages will be a plus.
- Capable of handling confidential information in a discreet manner and maintain the highest ethical standards
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and rigorous person. You have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team on complex projects
- Analytical thinking; ability to think critically, analyze data, make difficult decisions, and solve complex problems.
- Strategic thinking; a global vision of the company and business.
- Results-oriented; ability to recognize which results are important and what steps need to be taken to achieve them.
