WITHIN YOUR TEAM

The Business Application Team embodies the interaction between business & IT, supports the transformation to a Digital organization.

As a Technical Analyst for .NET, you will make sure that the right tools and processes are in place to integrate new and legacy .NET applications in the best possible way. You will take ownership of the technical aspects of each project ensuring the quality of the .NET related solutions. You will provide advice on the objects we need to use and how they are related.

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

You will be responsible for the design of technical architecture on .NET including the integration and of multiple platforms:

  • You guide the implementation teams and partners to manage the development lifecycle.
  • You shape the technical architecture to optimize performance, for scalability and security of our platform.
  • You make recommendations, highlight trade-offs, benefits, and risks of various options
  • You articulate technical discussions for various audiences technical and non-technical (IT, analysts, developers, business stakeholders, …).
  • You collaborate & coordinate cross teams and with the Enterprise Architect.
  • You are a trusted knowledge expert and advisor on the platform.

Main responsibilities and key activities:

  • Responsible for creating and documenting the technical architecture in collaboration with the other Enterprise Architect and functional teams to meet key business functions and deliver value to Esko and customers.
  • Guide decisions and determine best approaches to implement technical solutions end to end.
  • Translate functional analysis into one high-quality technical IT solution, considering established requirements, quality, budget, and scope.
  • You are an escalation point for technical issues or challenges about .NET, Power, and Azure applications.
  • Investigate problems in search for the root cause and long-term solution(s) within your areas of responsibility.
  • Work closely with the ERP team on the .NET interface technical requirements.
  • Work closely with the Data team on data integration and data migration flows.
  • Play a mentoring role for your peers and support the development of their technical knowledge.
  • Teach and implement best practices.
  • Establish partner collaborations.
  • In charge of code deployment and release management.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL WHO HAS:

  • Strong knowledge in .NET platform.
  • Knowledge in corresponding cloud technologies and platforms, such as Power Platform and Azure would be a big plus.
  • An integration and development background, proficient experience with Azure DevOps, MS SQL, REST, Git, Bitbucket.
  • Experience with Agile as Scrum Master is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Experience in managing integration and/or data migration streams.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective business relationships with business units and other associates (excellent influencing skills).
  • Solid knowledge about IT components needed in a business applications environment.
  • Ability to work and stay calm under pressure – take decisions and support them.
  • Proactive attitude, i.e., ‘avoid’ rather than ‘react’.
  • Proficiency in English, both written & spoken.

YOUR EDUCATION AND BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE WILL INCLUDE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of architectural design and implementation experience in a Business application and Analytics environment (including development and implementation, data analysis, and report writing).
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and C# programming language.
  • Experience with API design, development, and implementation.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful utilization of Visual Studio, SQL Server Management and BI Development Studio, and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., Azure).
  • Experience with Power Platform (BI, Apps, Automate).
  • Extensive experience with OLTP and OLAP development and implementation.
  • Familiarity with MS solutions (e.g., D365, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, etc.).
  • Project Management and user training experience is desired.
