This position will be based in Ponte Caldelas, Pontevedra, Spain, and you will report to the Site Manager.

Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Technical degree in Operations, Supply Chan Management, Engineering, or equivalent.
- Fluent in Spanish, both written and verbal.
- Professional working proficiency in English.
- 5+ years of experience as a supervisor / manager within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with plywood, wood, forestry is considered an asset.
- Manage daily production work orders to completion within scheduled time frame, assigning tasks to workers as required.
- Manage employee performance and identify training needs to ensure a safe, efficient, and cooperative work group.
- Identify and solve complex production problems and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Manage finished goods warehouse.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving activities.
- Strong ERP skills.
- Strong communication skills Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations to individuals and large groups.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency.
- Solid time management skills with ability to prioritize.
- Strategic thinker, strong team player and team builder who has a can-do attitude and have a hands-on, take-ownership personality.
- Must possess a good working knowledge of all plant equipment and their respective output capacities.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of process capabilities.
- Must possess a good understanding of people capabilities and resultant training requirements
- Other responsibilities include worker safety and the potential for injury from the improper set-up and operation of equipment
- Must be able to plan effectively and coordinate production activities to meet required deadlines
