The BCN GBPA Software Developer drives the software development lifecycle — including working across functional teams to transform requirements into features, managing developments and processes, and conducting software testing and maintenance.

Your key responsibilities:
Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Work across teams to provide technical guidance and support the entire development process of the product.
- Develop a well thought out plan which helps Data scientists to produce a program which meets the needs of Business
- Prepare a training manual that can be used by application users.
- Attend meetings with Business, data scientists, SQL developers, Business planning analysts, and other staff.
- Improves operations by completing systems analysis work.
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, model validation and model implementation
- Deliver production-ready code

Minimum requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or other related Bachelor
- 1-3 years' experience in a technology related field such as DevOps engineering, software engineering, or developer
- Experience with Agile Methodologies: Confluence and Jira (or similar)
- Expertise in functional specifically in Python (R is a plus)
- Experience in DevOps: Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins (or similar)
- Expertise in Data science packages: Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, Matplotlib
- Fluent in English
Desirable requirements:
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Databases (relational and non-relational) and other data storage systems
- Other languages (Spanish, French, German) are an asset
