What are we looking for?
We are looking for a Unity Lead Developer who will be the right-hand man of the company CTO. This profile will play a key role in the development of our product, Univrse, and also in the development of multi-user VR experience.
Not just someone who does the work, but who thinks critically and contributes to the creative process.
Requirements
What will you do?
- XR Application Development : Design, develop, and implement applications in the realms of virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and mixed reality (MR) for research and development purposes.
- Innovative Solutions : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and create innovative XR solutions that contribute to the advancement of research goals and objectives.
- Prototyping : Rapidly prototype XR applications to explore the feasibility and potential applications, ensuring a quick iteration process to refine and optimize user experiences.
- Research Integration : Integrate the latest advancements in XR technologies into ongoing research projects, providing insights on how immersive technologies can enhance and transform various domains.
- Technical Documentation : Create comprehensive technical documentation for developed XR applications, ensuring clarity for internal teams and aiding in knowledge transfer.
- Stay up to date of Industry Trends : Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in XR technologies, identifying opportunities to leverage emerging tools and techniques for research and development purposes.
Must have hard skills
- XR Development Skills : Proficient in developing applications for VR, AR, and MR platforms using Unity3D. Other engines, such as Unreal Engine, are a plus.
- Programming Languages : Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, C++, or other relevant languages for XR development.
- Hardware Integration : Familiarity with integrating XR applications with various hardware devices, such as VR headsets, AR glasses, and motion controllers.
- XR Interactions knowledge : Familiarity with XR interactions libraries, such as hand, eye and body tracking, as well as its possible uses and implementation.
Soft Skills
Great communication skills and self-driven to achieve the best results
Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and optimise XR applications for performance and user satisfaction.
Experienced working in an Agile environment
Candidates for this position must have a genuine interest in the latest technological developments in the industry
You will have a Big Plus if you have
Portfolio of XR Projects : A portfolio showcasing previous XR projects and applications developed, demonstrating creativity and technical proficiency.
Knowledge of AR and VR : Familiarity with augmented reality and virtual reality concepts and applications, including image recognition, object & hand tracking, and marker-based AR.
Passion for Artificial Intelligence : Keen interest and understanding of artificial intelligence to explore ways in which AI can be integrated into XR applications for enhanced interactivity, adaptive experiences, and intelligent content generation.
Passion for Emerging Technologies : A genuine interest and enthusiasm for exploring and implementing emerging technologies in the XR space, with a proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends.
Research Background : Prior experience working on research projects or a strong interest in contributing to cutting-edge research through XR development.
Collaborative Skills : Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, incorporating feedback, and contributing to a collaborative development environment.
Community Engagement : Actively participate in the XR developer community, sharing insights, knowledge, and experiences.
Contribute to open-source projects, attend industry events, and engage in collaborative discussions to stay connected with the latest trends.
Language requirements
