Sales Manager - Digital Media
Summary of the role
As the Digital Media Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and pitching long-term digital media contracts to airlines worldwide to grow Amadeus Media revenue.
Your role will be to focus on new business development along with upselling / cross-selling opportunities by defining and implementing sales activities with main potential and recurring airline customers.
You’ll also follow up and secure commercial relationships ensuring customer's needs and satisfaction.
In this role, you’ll
1. Identify and establish relationships with sales prospects
Develop key relationships with airline decision makers, and pitch Amadeus Digital Solutions with a focus on generating new revenue
2. Generate new leads and build an active pipeline of new airline prospects
Increase the client base for Amadeus Digital portfolio of solutions
Organize meetings and attend sector events to gather potential new customers for advertising products
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to increase brand awareness and optimize sales approach
Work with Airline Sales Manager of Amadeus Travel Seller Media portfolio to identify cross-selling opportunities and organize joint meetings
Partner with airline account managers and other internal stakeholders to develop close relationship and build support from their side
Coordinate with Digital Customer Success Manager to ensure delivery and customer satisfaction
4. Maintain customer relationships and upsell / renew to drive revenue growth
Follow up and secure existing revenues by managing a close relationship with customers
Organize regular sales calls with key customers to identify new and future opportunities
Maintain high renewal rate among recurring customers
Secure renewals of existing clients by collaborating closely with Customer Success Manager
About the ideal candidate
University degree or equivalent
At least 5 years of commercial experience in digital advertising sales, advertising technology, and digital media
Understanding of advertising technology and programmatic ecosystem
Previous experience in travel or hospitality industry (airline business preferred) will be a plus
Proficient in English (both verbal and written); another language is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer focus and negotiation skills
