JOB DUTIES
- Perform quality pre-checks on components and parts required to complete a job
- Follow detailed instructions in a variety of formats (i.e., drawings, schematics, bills of material, internal procedures, or some combination thereof), and report work completed daily
- Perform quality checks on completed assemblies
- Interpret test results and evaluate data with oversight (including temperature, salinity, conductivity, pressure, and oceanographic data)
- Recognize and effectively report/communicate problems with quality, processes, equipment, or materials to Manufacturing Lead, Supervisor or Operations Manager, and assist with basic troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing best practices
MINIMUM QULIFICATIONS
- 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of related electrical and/or mechanical work experience
- Basic knowledge of necessary instruments and tools such as hand and power tools, test jigs, voltmeters, and ohmmeters
- Ability to read, interpret, and use engineering drawings and schematics
- Excellent electro-mechanical skills, including troubleshooting
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform precise procedures consistently
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- This is hands-on work and may require you to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds on occasion (with assistance)
