We’re looking for an experienced, energetic Software Engineer Intern to take Loadsensing to the next level.

The mission :
We are looking for a Software Engineer (Intern) responsible for the development and maintenance of our Cloud-based applications.
Your primary focus will be participation in development and innovation projects related to our cloud-based IoT monitoring and orchestration platform.
You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code
- Identify and correct bottlenecks; fix bugs
- Validate the implementation before going to production
- Keep documentation up to date and delivered to quality standards
- Work closely with front-end and back-end engineers to modify and enhance solutions using Worldsensing products and APIs.
- As part of the above, you’ll be working with really exciting products and technologies, and getting to know more about the Internet of Things (IoT) domain, including Sensor data, Microservices Architecture, Dev Ops culture, and Artificial Intelligence, among others.
Requirements
- Experience in at least one high-level, programming language (Python, Java, Javascript, C++, )
- Knowledge of Linux at system level
- Understanding of networking, systems and security concepts
- Good level of English both written and spoken (B2+)
Nice to Have :
- Knowledge of frameworks for backend in Python (Flask, FastAPI) or Node.js as well as frontend in React.
- Knowledge of Microservices Architectures, Docker, or Kubernetes, at least at an academic level.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with continuous integration and Source Control Management like Bitbucket
