DirecciónResponsibilities :
Under the supervision of the Head of Finance, primary responsibilities of the Junior Accountant include but are not limited to :
- Record selected monthly close entries. Prepare support documentation for Journal Entries and appropriate internal controls documentation according to Group Procedures.
- Assist with the monthly reporting to the Group
- Prepare schedules for quarterly and annual audits and other supporting documentation
- Manage accounts payable and prepare payments to suppliers
- Manage accounts receivable and reconcile customer invoices to trading and banks
- Analyze and agree intercompany transactions
- Analyze assigned Balance Sheet accounts
- Review all Cash Transactions as they occur daily
- Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing tax returns according to local tax regulations.
- Assist with purchasing activities related to the office / plant requirements
- Prepare distribution payments
- Prepare various ad hoc reports as needed to support HoF and / or operational / commercial team
Required qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a degree in business administration and / or accounting
- Candidate will have 1+ years of accounting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required.
- SAP is required
- BPC experience will be considered
- Fluency in Spanish and English
