Position Overview
The Support Specialist in the Legal Department will perform a variety of administrative tasks for the Legal team in EMEA and assist with Legal Department programs and projects globally. The ideal candidate enjoys collaborating across teams, has an eye for detail, is pragmatic, adaptable and has exceptional communication and relationship building skills.
Note: this position does not require Legal expertise.
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Legal team in the GEO with general administrative support, this may also include maintaining the legal department files, organization of internal events and other events.
  • Assist people in finding answers to their questions, educating them on where to find information, or connecting them with a Subject Matter Expert
  • Collaborate with business partners/vendors ensuring timely completion of deliverables as needed.
  • Assist with NDA requests
  • Assist with research, data clean up and special projects as they arise.
  • Collaborate on work with teammates to align on processes, knowledge management and share best practices.
  • Support the Legal and Legal Operations team on maintenance tasks as soon as a project is live.
  • Work on small projects to improve processes, reduce manual work and gain efficiency
You are not expected to help the Legal team with expense reports, booking travel or personal calendaring.
Minimum Qualifications
  • BA or BS preferred
  • 2 plus years’ experience providing administrative support to teams
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency of MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Salesforce and SharePoint are a plus
  • Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record to manage small projects, work under pressure and consistently make deadlines
