The GP Directs Back Office Buyer will support GP strategies throug executing critical day-to-day Procurement activities across Directs categories for CARICAM manufacturing operations.
As a member of the CARICAM Unit will be responsible for executing purchases in line with the relevant Commidities, Seasonings and Ingredients categories strategies through application of the GP Global, LatAm and Local Polycies.
Their primary focus will be to deliver ad-hoc business-led buying activities to ensure maximum possible value and compliance for Caricam operations, giving local support at the hands of the CARICAM GP Commodities Manager and GP Seasonings and Ingridientes Buyer, guaranteeing the operational continuity of the business and being a change agent in conjuction with Supply Chain team.
Support Governance, Compliance and Analytics agenda for Directs categories across CARICAM, stretching contracts monitoring ensuring that local and Global policies are being followed, tracking contracts logs, dashboards and KPI’s for contracts in place, in renewal process and to expire.
Responsibilities- Interaction with regional and global procurement teams, to meet the requirements of global processes and their application to regional events.
- Support GP Commodities Manager and Seasonings and Ingredients buyer for delivering CARICAM GP Plan (Productivity, Cash Flow, Pricing)
- Lead Automation Plan for Directs in Caricam working with Supply Planning and MRP Latam Team, in order to ensure 100% automation.
- Enable ongoing system, process, policies changes providing guidance and issues resolution to local stakeholders
- Support the transformation of CARICAM procurement team

- Ensuring the relevant purchasing documentation is created, including wherever required contracting using agree contract templates and clauses Act as an expert on the application of the eSourcing process (RfIs, RfQs, RfPs) for both the delivery of day-to-day purchasing activity, and in support of Regional Category Teams and Project Managers as they execute proactive initiatives.
- Responsible for ensuring that Procurement operational targets and KPIs on internal customer service are delivered including expected metrics such as cycle times, number of customer complaints and number of spot buys (unplanned, business led buys).
