Azure Cloud Administrator - FinOps
Profile
- Experience in designing, building, and operating cloud services.
- At least 3 years’ experience in Azure Cloud Architectures (Microsoft Azure Administration or Data path certifications).
- Implement and manage automated tools to help identify cost trends, anomalies, and track budget (actuals vs estimates)
- Work with our technical teams to design and implement new services in the most cost-efficient way
- Set and Track budgets as per customer requirements (by Account, by Project, by cost centre etc)
- Work with the financial teams on budget, forecast, tagging and related FinOps centric KPI’s and SLA analytics and reporting requirements
- Create and oversee a cloud billing dashboard to track, manage and optimize cloud costs and Reserved Instance purchases.
- Passion for the DevOps culture and principles and desire to work on this area

Skills & Knowledge
Mandatory skills & knowledge
- English B2
- Management of Microsoft data platforms and their components : Synapse, Databricks, Datalake ADSL Gen2, ADF, SQL pool, Spark pool, for platform configuration and administration.
- MS Azure SQL database management and administration.
- Microservices Management on Dockers or Kubernetes platforms (AKS).
- Use of frameworks for the deployment of services such as IaC. Terraform, CloudFormation and Biceps.
- Work in a dynamic environment and produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Certificaciones : Azure Administrator (AZ-104), DP 203 Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure, DP 500 Administering Relational Databases on Microsoft Azure o similar
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based infrastructure, applications, and services
- Experience with on-prem environments : networking, storage, compute and integration between cloud & on-prem services.
- Performance Optimisation : Monitor and tune the configuration of services in Azure to ensure optimal performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and performance issues.
- Experience with various enterprise applications, ideally SAP and IT services, as well as software development, compliance and security, and IT operations disciplines.
- Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the cloud optimization practice and make recommendations on reserved capacity strategy, utilization optimization opportunities, product architectural recommendations to promote cost savings, and discounts for optimization.
- Collaborate with technology teams to incorporate cost management best practices into cloud platforms via tagging, alerting and configurations that supports financial monitoring of cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of app & data architectures and cloud native patterns for development, etc.
- Mandatory knowledge (proved experience)
- Experience re-architecting applications for cloud platforms.
- Lead, develop, and implement the processes and capabilities required that ensure costs optimization.
- Experience in driving deep architectural discussions to help customers ensure they are making the most cost-efficient cloud usage choices.
- NoSQL Databases
- Azure Administrator knowledge.
- Azure Data Factory : Develop generic solutions, optimizing extraction process and manage IRs.
- Databricks : Good handling with Spark Clusters, Spark Jobs, Lakehouse.
- Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect
