Trade Operations team is responsible for handling all trade product including Bank guarantees, within the Operations Team in Spain.
The team is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all type of guarantees. This includes the processing of time-critical, complex transactions on behalf of the Bank's internal and external clients. The team undertake the complete and accurate capturing of Domestic and International Bank Guarantees. Team is focus on ensure that procedures are properly executed to reduce processing risk and identify potential areas for process improvement whether internally within the Bank or for our clients.
The Operator will report into the Local head of Trade Operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Responsible of the team that perform day to day processing of Bank Guarantees, to meet agreed customer service level agreements and review outstanding transactions. Manage and ensure compliance (KOP, Ops manual etc.) with internal policies and audit and regulatory requirements Responsible for responding to ad-hoc issues or client queries on a timely basis, ensuring all communications have been responded accurate. Actively supports transformation and/or optimization initiatives to improve the efficiency/effectiveness of the process. Produce and Manage MIS and control reports for processes. Ensure EOD controls are adhered to daily. Proactively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues (locally and globally), stakeholders and respective support areas
Your Skills and Experience:
High experience in Trade finance Product including Bank Guarantees. Experience in Team management Excellent verbal & written communication along with dynamic & confident approach. Team player who fosters team spirit in a global setting. Must have a high level of English Strong and well-developed relationship / stakeholder skills Degree in Business Administration or Law
