About the role
The engineering and calibrations trainee will be part of our internship program for 12 months and will Support the Engineering department to maintain the calibrated status of instruments.
Key responsibilities
Support calibrations on site. From coordination of calibration processes and activities to site acceptance of calibration results.
Support management of calibrations in M-ERP (SAP) and in PMX.
Guarantee quality in all processes, focusing on calibrations management.
Comply with EHS policies and standards.
Ensure correct waste disposal.
Identify potential risks to EHS and Quality and escalate accordingly.
Qualifications and skills
Degree in Engineering
Fluent in use of MS tools; Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
Familiar with the use of measurements instruments, thermometers, weighscales, odometers, etc and basic calibration concepts : reference standard, error, precision, tolerance.
Basic knowledge of mathematics and statistic.
Familiar with use of PC applications.
Organised, and focus, with care for detail.
Eager to learn.
With good communication skills and facility to interact with others
