For an established public transportation company, we are hiring Bus Drivers for permanent positions across Germany / Austria / Europe.
Applicants must be open to relocation within these regions - comprehensive Visa Sponsorship and relocation support are provided.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Safely operate buses, adhering to predetermined routes and schedules, to ensure timely transportation of passengers.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to guarantee that the vehicle is in optimal operating condition.
- Manage passenger interactions with professionalism, assisting with boarding and alighting, fare collection, and providing route information as necessary.
- Respond to any incidents or emergencies in line with company protocols, prioritizing passenger safety at all times.
- Utilize navigation tools and knowledge of local routes to efficiently navigate through traffic and alternative routes when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of travel logs, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and incident reports.
- Comply with all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding passenger conduct and safety.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possession of a valid driver's license that permits the operation of buses (equivalent to a driving license D in Germany and Austria), with or without a trailer weighing no more than 750 kg.
- Ideally holding a D95 qualification.
- Ideally in possession of a valid driver card.
- Professional driving experience is an asset, but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to operate large vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently, manage stress and make decisions in dynamic environments.
- A high level of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic command of English; proficiency in German is advantageous but not a requirement.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, including the acquisition of new certifications as needed.
