The Chief of Staff (CoS) serves as a right-hand person to the NWE Cluster Head but also to key members in the Leadershipteam in NWE. The primary purpose of the Chief of Staff role is to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the leadership members and the NWE organization as a whole. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, project management, leadership, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Advisor: The CoS acts as a strategic advisor to the executive, providing insights, recommendations, and analysis on key decisions and initiatives. They help in formulating, communicating, and executing the Cluster’s strategic plan. This includes identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Project Management : Coordinating and managing special projects, initiatives, and cross-country teams on behalf of the Cluster Leadership. This includes setting project priorities, tracking progress, and ensuring timely execution.

  • Executive Support : Providing direct support to the executive, including preparing them for meetings, webcasts, town talks, and handling confidential information with discretion.

  • Communication Facilitator: Serving as a bridge between the executive and other members of the organization, being closely connected within a European Chief of Staff group to share best practices between Clusters and teams. Further, the CoS helps in ensuring clear communication and alignment on priorities and objectives and acts as an interface to central Platform Business functions. Announcements, Viva Engage and Social Media posts are also part of this role.

  • Problem Solving : Assisting in identifying and addressing critical issues and challenges within the organization. Analyzing complex problems and developing solutions.

  • Stakeholder Relations : Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to advance the organization's goals and objectives. However, primarily the task is to ensure that the Sales teams receive exactly the Services they need from Platform Business central functions.

  • Decision-Making : Playing a role in the decision-making process by synthesizing information, presenting options, and helping the Cluster LT make informed choices. Common sense, bold attitude and a fresh positive mindset is key!

  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking and reporting on the progress of key initiatives and ensuring that the executive's priorities are being met. The NWE KPIs is the number one priorityhere.

  • Reporting : Provides Management reports based on SFDC and automated reporting and pre-analyses key movements and highlights before presenting weekly to the Leadership members

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (master's degree or MBA is preferred).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Project management expertise.

  • Ability to work independently and make decisions on behalf of the Cluster Head

  • Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

  • Adaptability and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Language: Fluent in English / Business English

  • Location: Any country in NWE

  • Out of the box thinking attitude

  • Presentation / PowerPoint skills
