We are an online e-commerce company, working with this industry for 10+ years, having a team of 40+ people worldwide. We do not produce our own products, and we do not do marketing.

We work in a unique way, more similar to trading than Amazon eCommerce, different from many eCommerce companies. We organize processes in a way that allows us to make profit while being more efficient in shipping, logistics, and timing to get the best market prices for our products and then see these products on marketplaces worldwide.

Our business is Research, Data mining, and understanding margins and returns. We thrive when our processes are followed to the letter and the work of all team members is synchronized.

By following these simple rules, we can produce lower costs, better purchasing decisions, and fast delivery of products.

Currently we are hiring a new Deputy CEO / СOO.

The ideal candidate that we are looking for should possess following Competencies:

  • System Thinking: sees the world through patterns & systems interaction at all levels. Is able to identify the highest leverage points, as well as areas of efficiency & improvement. Understands operational best practices, strategies & tools
  • Influencer: is able to get participation & buy-in from any key stakeholder and incite collaboration around any desired outcome or project
  • Future-oriented: is able to future-pace bottlenecks & opportunities and reverse engineer into tactical initiatives & decisions in the present
  • Radical Ownership: accepts responsibility for all company operations, with a willingness to do whatever it takes to ensure the company successfully & ethically executes its goals & vision
  • Data-driven: is able to analyze data and make critical decisions based off of it
  • Coachable: readily accepts feedback and incorporates it into ongoing personal growth & development. Is able to evolve in response to company needs
  • Highly organized: is able to manage multiple projects at once and ensure all are delivered on time. Effective time management & prioritization skills

Besides that, we expect that our ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate C1-C2 level of English (all communication inside the team will be held in English)
  • Have obtained Business/Finance degree
  • Have experience in managing small business’s departments and achieving the set goals
  • Have already scaled a company through 100-200% YOY growth

As a COO, you will be engaged in a number of diverse tasks and responsibilities:

Design the company's plan of action, and ensure the execution of that plan to accomplish the company's short-, near-, and long-term strategy & targets

  • Organize decision-making & task completion throughout to ensure the company drives towards that vision as efficiently & effectively as possible
  • Ensure all company actions & systems are in alignment with the overarching strategic vision
  • Ensure the entire company understands the company strategic vision, reverse engineered into departmental targets & goals that are top of mind, executed and updated quarterly

Design & execute the internal infrastructure needed to support current operations & expected growth

  • Optimize technical & human systems to maximize the efficiency and minimize the friction of daily operations company-wide
  • Future pace the operational challenges posed by growth towards the strategic vision, and build scalable solutions to minimize growing pains
  • Documented processes, followed by all, across all core company workflows & processes

Cultivate clarity, trust, alignment, and exceptional, data-based decision-making from the teams leading all operational departments

  • Act as the ultimate decision-maker on critical decisions, as needed
  • Make hiring & firing decisions for the operations department's leadership teams
  • Ensure the operations departments have the support & resources needed to accomplish their best work, including advocating on their behalf and clearing bottlenecks as needed
  • Hold the operations teams accountable to exceptionally high standards of execution & performance
  • Right people in the right seats, directly overseeing the team leadership, and by extension, their departments internally
  • Highly productive meetings, that are moving the company forward, where issues are solved once, and produce scalable solutions so the same problems are not recurring

The job is full time, however the working hours are flexible, but you should be reachable

between 9 am and 6 pm Barcelona time. Three month's trial is envisaged for this position.

The starting date is asap.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: 8,000.00€ - 11,000.00€ per month
