Summary :
Provides technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members; performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner as assigned;
obtains and interprets data for diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs related laboratory technology duties.
Salary range for this position is $72,480-$81,573 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications :
Required Education and Experience
1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline and eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
NOTE :
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications :
The preferred candidate will have previous experience working in a Clinical Laboratory, an understanding of Flow Cytometry, knowledge of Immunology and a valid New York Clinical Laboratory license.
They will also be willing to be available for on call or rotations, an understanding of medical technology, proficiency with specialized computer software, aptitude for technology and ability to master technologically complete instrumentation and the capacity to work in a dynamic and busy laboratory environment.
