What you'll do:
GreenLake Cloud Platform is an internally developed innovative cloud-stack that powers HPE’s Cloud Solutions. The GreenLake Cloud Platform is a unified operational experience that provides a simplified view and access to all cloud services, spanning the entire HPE portfolio, with single sign-on access, security, compliance, elasticity, and data protection. The Greenlake Cloud Platform is the foundation to a rich set of cloud services in networking, data services, high performance computing and compute operations management.
The Greenlake Cloud Platform team offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to contribute to architecting and building the platform and applications on a top distributed backend. Be part of a fast-paced development team and learn how to build solutions that make a difference.
Responsibilities:
You will work as a member of a scrum team with other software systems engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
About you(How you'll make your mark):
- Experience developing with one or more of the following languages: Go (Golang), Python, Java, C#
- Must be able to multi-task, manage details and keep sight of overall objectives
- Ability to think and operate as a team player
- Good analytical and problem-solving skill
- Understanding of design, development, and deployment of microservices.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g. GitHub, Bitbucket)
- Able to learn quickly and work well independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills including mastery in English
Nice to have:
- Skilled working with public cloud services
- Experience working in Identity and Access Management (IAM), security, ZeroTrust
- Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies
- Experience with automated CI/CD tools and processes such as Github Actions and GitOps
- Understanding of container and orchestration technologies – Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience working with infrastructure as code, using tools like terraform, helm, etc.
- Knowledge in writing Unit testing framework Jest and e2e testing frameworks such as Cypress
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 5+ years of experience
