As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will analyse if sufficient IT security controls have been appropriately designed and effectively implemented in order to reach management’s objectives.
This role will require the person to be able to travel extensively easily throughout Europe up to 35% to 40% of the time.
Where will you be based and what business will you support?
Joining one of our teams in Barcelona -within the Group Assets and Risks department- you will be a part of the Information Risk team, covering risk management for IT Management, Infrastructure, Operations, Development, Cyber and Information Security activities in the EMEA region.
How can you help us?
Your primary area of expertise will be to contribute to central and local IT Risk Assessments and provide recommendations to the Business Leaders .
As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you may also cover other types of projects in your daily work (e.g., Vulnerability Scan, Phishing campaigns, IT Risk Resilience test, etc.).
Specific Assignments :
- Planning and preparing of a technical part of IT risk work programmes in relation to specific areas to be evaluated.
- Executing technical part of risk and audit assessments in accordance with professional standards, at all levels of the Eurofins’ Organisation : Central Services, Regional Infrastructure, Laboratories within the assigned region.
- Making relevant technical recommendations to initiate improvements in the Eurofins process control, and risk mitigation.
- Verbally communicating results in a clear, professional, and problem-solving manner.
- Producing clear and quality reports to formally communicate results to management.
- Following up the implementation of agreed action plans, in aim to mitigate the identified IT risk.
- Maintaining professional relationship with internal stakeholders and partners (IT and business).

- This position requires a structured candidate with self-confidence and negotiation skills, with an ability to challenge established processes and ease to manage multiple priorities and ambiguity in a rapidly moving business environment.
- Strong Emotional Intelligence with demonstrated leadership in a large organization involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences in English.
- International profile, open to frequent travels within his / her region.
Technical Skills :
- A strong technical background in cybersecurity and very good understanding of IT technology to ensure the achievement of business outcomes where the business process is dependent on technology.
- Ability to provide input to data and security requirements for complex IT and business environments.
- Broad technical understanding of network infrastructure design, firewalls, IDS / IPS, SIEM / SOAR.
- Ideally knowledge / experience in UK / EU Data Protection Regulations, NIS2 Directive and other relevant regulations.
- CISSP, CopTIA Network + or any other recognised Information Security qualifications.
Education and / or Experience :
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant field.
- 2- 4 years’ experience in performing technical roles in cybersecurity and / or in related IT Control Functions.
