Senior Data Architect to join an international team.
Data Architecture Strategy:
- Formulate and propel the comprehensive Data Architecture strategy in harmony with the organization´s business goals.
- Work with stakeholders to comprehend data needs and convert them into extensive and scalable data solutions. Data Architecture Planning:
- Create and uphold a detailed Data Architecture roadmap, taking into account both immediate objectives and long-term aspirations.
- Assess and suggest technologies and tools that correspond with the organization´s progressing data requirements.
Data Modeling and Design:
- Supervise the design and execution of sturdy data models that cater to the organization´s present and future needs.
- Design and execute sturdy data models that accommodate both transactional and analytical needs.
- Guarantee data integrity, uniformity, and precision across diverse databases and data sources.
- Ensure data models comply with industry best practices and standards.
Data Integration:
- Supervise the amalgamation of data from diverse sources, ensuring smooth and precise data flow.
- Implement data integration solutions that cater to real-time and batch processing needs.
- Formulate and enforce data management policies and procedures to ensure data quality, uniformity, and security.
Teamwork and Communication:
- Work in unison with multidisciplinary teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software engineers, to guarantee a unified and integrated approach to data management.
- Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the less experienced members of the Data Architecture team.
- Explain intricate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in an easy-to-understand manner.
Data Governance and Protection:
- Formulate and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and adherence to regulations.
- Put in place strong security measures to safeguard sensitive data assets.
Ongoing Enhancement:
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies pertinent to Data Architecture.
- Spot opportunities for ongoing enhancement and optimization of data-related processes.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in a Data Architect role or similar, with at least 4 years of pertinent experience.
- Possession of a Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or related GCP certifications is highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in the design and implementation of data solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.
- Solid expertise in GCP data services, including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Experience with GCP-specific data modeling tools, such as BigQuery ML and Data Catalog.
- English Level B2+
