- responsible for the end-to-end commercial and contractual relationship of assigned data suppliers, including but not limited to contract negotiation, contract reviews, supplier relationship management, risk analysis etc.
- review and monitoring of allocated suppliers including relevant documentation (agreements) and according to compliance regulations
- actively maintain a data base for supplier strategic issues as well as growing the existing supplier portfolio, based on strategic requirements.
Keep a close eye on developments within the financial data industry, analyze and report market trends via the data acquisition newsletter to internal stakeholders
- manage overall data acquisition cost and report KPI figures , create negotiation plans as well as , internal project reporting and to ad-hoc inquiries
- identify and drive new data opportunities and implement new suppliers in close cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (Product Management, Operations, Project Management, etc.)
What You Bring
- strong knowledge of financial markets with focus on financial data (exchanges, rating agencies, contributors, etc.)
- high interest for legal and contractual topics or relevant experience on similar position
- flexible team player with a good amount of perseverance and ability to organize, plan work independently and a "get-it-done" mindset
- deep interest in new technologies and business processes
- excellent oral and written communication skills in English (fluent in negotiations). Any other language is advantageous
