We are an expanding team that helps HP use AI/ML technology, including both traditional ML methods (forecasting algorithms, recommender systems) and also Generative AI and large language models. We work with business units mainly from the Commercial Organization to develop and run software applications for internal use.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and implementation of models aimed at discovering patterns, making predictions, and driving business value and innovation.
Collaborate with Data Scientists to devise innovative solutions for existing or new business challenges.
Prepare clear and compelling presentations to managers.
Knowledge & Skills:
Utilize statistical methods, mathematics, algorithms, and programming languages to solve real-world business problems.
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLM), prompt engineering, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and search engines.
Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Python.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with mastery in English.
Education & Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field.
While this is an intern position, any relevant coursework or academic projects related to Data Science, machine learning, or statistics will be a plus.
