Requirements

Minimun :

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements :

• 8+ years experience in constructing analytic solutions to business problems.
• Enthusiasm for using data to solve business problems, and an understanding of the algorithms, data processing methods and visualization techniques required.
• Good communication and presentation skills, storytelling based on data.
• Proactive and constructive attitude and team player.
• Leadership skills & management skills.
• Ability to motivate the team.
• Create a good working environment.

Desirable :

• Degree / Master in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
• Data / IT project management experience.

Overview

As a member of CIB Banking CoE (Center of Expertise), you will work with different product and business units within CIB helping them develop data-based products and generating data-driven decisions.

About the job

Key responsibilities

• Lead a DATA SCIENTIST team ensuring best practices, tracking progress and developing team members performance and motivation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand needs and requirements.
• Identify necessary data and be responsible for data exploration, including data harmonization and preparation.
• Develop, maintain and optimize robust data pipelines that transform data into business insights using Python and PySpark in the Datio platform.
• Design and implement analytic solutions based on statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Create reports with your findings, formulate recommendations, and effectively present your conclusions to analytic and non-analytic audiences.
• Collaborate with IT teams to convert analytical proof of concepts into productive modules.
• Maintain and monitor and evolve analytical solutions.
• Use your communication skills to share the results of your analyses.
