At Launchmetrics, we develop SaaS platforms and deliver data to our clients in the Fashion, Luxury, and Beauty (FLB) industry, enabling them to make more informed decisions regarding their branding strategies, ultimately empowering them to craft compelling, influential, and quantifiable experiences.

THE ROLE

At Launchmetrics, our data is the backbone of our products and the core of the value we bring to our customers.

As a Data Strategist, your primary focus will be on contributing to the development and execution of our data strategies with the end goal to drive business growth and profitability for our customers globally, from West to East.

Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product & Data Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to leverage data as a strategic asset for our customers and uncover new revenue opportunities for Launchmetrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Watch: Conduct market and competition analysis to gain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape (FLB centric data companies, influence marketing actors, social media etc). Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities. Through this benchmark, inform strategic decision-making for our Product and Data operations teams and help them make sure to align with the unique requirements of Fashion, Lifestyle and Beauty brands. For example, contribute to our coverage roadmap identifying Voices and Brands of interest.

  • Explore new data value props: Identify opportunities for revenue generation and competitive advantage based on data-driven insights tailored to FLB markets. Run some data analysis to identify new data value propositions to integrate in our tools and services (ex: how to deliver value through new AI models, explore new KPIs and graphs to leverage in our apps). Depending on projects you may work with our Data Services team and deliver custom reports to clients, Marketing to help build impactful data marketing content or CS to run some real-life POC.

  • Own Launchmetrics data methodology: Work with Product and Data team to define our data methodology (Coverage / Panel, KPIs, Taxonomy, Enrichment rules…) and provide documentation and communication material internally (for Product, Marketing, Sales, CS) and externally for prospects and clients. In this context you may be involved in client relationships as well as industry events, conferences, and thought leadership forums to showcase Launchmetrics’ data capabilities.

  • Manage strategic data Partnerships: You will own strategic partnership with other data companies making sure that they are properly scoped and delivering value to our clients and internal teams.

  • Data Marketing : Manage our marketing data analyst and help her work on data marketing initiatives in close collaboration with the marketing team. Identify ways of pitching our data value propositions & innovations through marketing to make sure Launchmetrics is perceived as a data expert in the Brand Performance field.


YOUR PROFILE
  • Business or engineering Master's degree and 3+ years of experience in Data Strategy, data analysis, data marketing, or data consulting fields.

  • Technical skills: Strong knowledge of Excel and SQL is required.

  • Proactivity and autonomy: you would work as a bridge between several teams but with advanced autonomy. You are able to identify business opportunities in a proactive way and push for relevant projects.

  • Communication (Internal & External): you demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. You’re able to establish trusted advisor relationships with colleagues and customers and act as a strategic consultant on data-driven initiatives.

  • Collaboration: strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive consensus on initiatives.

  • Data analysis: you have experience in data analytics, data modeling, data visualization and data-driven decision-making.

  • You are fluent in English and can communicate effectively with colleagues from different parts of the world.


Nice-to-have:

  • You have a strong interest for the FLB industries, in particular marketing and communication strategies.

  • Python and other programming languages are a plus.
