About the Business

Our Destination Management services form the core of ourbusiness. Together with our destination experts, our sales and accountmanagement teams generate business by partnering with our customers (TourOperators, Travel Agencies) to shape exciting itineraries suited to theirtraveler’s needs.

We take care of everything from ground support, hotelbookings, sightseeing, restaurants, and local guides; all while providing 24 / 7customer support so that travelers from over 50 countries can enjoy memorabletravel experiences worry free.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic OperatorExecutive to join our dynamic and global team. This position is well suited toan individual that is looking to advance their career in Tourist Business andgain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

Based withinthe Destination Mangement team , you will work closely with all areas of Operationsin a Destination Office, to success on performance the key objectives of therole.

ACTIVITIES

  • Responsible for all the matters regarding to the Operations, in close cooperation with other section managers
  • Maximizing the sales and profit & controlling the expenses
  • Keeping the high-quality services and hospitality for the end customers
  • Support sales activities to help win the competition of tours and business.
  • To be responsible for supplier bookings (restaurants, guides, entrances, transportation, special visits etc.). All tasks must be carried out in accordance with company policies, targets and deadlines.
  • Quotation of series tour
  • Propose the new destination, new route for Series product.

KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Knowledge of the business area, clients and suppliers.
  • Securing cancellation within deadline.
  • Ensure the best revenue possible controlling quotations together with Operation and revenue control teams.
  • Manage the Coordination of itineraries and tours.
  • Act to solve any complaints, problems to the customer.
  • Close communication with sales offices (advising sales about any potential problems with the itinerary, advising about closing period or not possible to book on time, providing details about destinations, suggesting possible SS spots / recommending to use new suppliers / reminding about cancellation DL, Cxld charges in case of pax decrease, reminding about inserting final RL, reporting about any emergency cases when the group is on the road, including FECS team, providing feedback after the tour and asking for the same from the agent side).
  • Close communication with suppliers in a way both sides are satisfied and the work is.
  • Support sales with agent tours / fam trips / promo tours.
  • Revenue control renegotiating with suppliers, securing best possible rates, checking BIS, focus on profit, avoid over budgets, report over budgets if any.

Quotations

  • Receive Request For Proposals from Sales
  • Gather information regarding all ground and hotel services
  • Secure all services are coordinated according to the itinerary
  • Prepare quotations.
  • Send finalized quotations to Sales.
  • Follow up for feedback with Sales in case we did not get the business.
  • Support Sales with services quotations.

Complexity

  • Look for the excellence in service towards our clients
  • Deep knowledge of our Business specially rules and requirements of all different programs and Sales Office
  • Make sure to get right data.
  • Time difference between sales offices.
  • Constant last-minute changes.

Knowledge, skills and experience

Knowledge

  • Degree in Management and Tourist activities.
  • Deep experience of practical operations in Europe and goog knowledge of the Japan market.
  • Fluent English Language Skills.
  • Technical skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Skills

  • High level of independency, self-initiative and drive, good team building skills
  • Strong influencing skills to lead change and carry out complex tasks through adversity
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Able to define priorities
