Your Job :
- Leading and enabling our digital sales initiatives towards the DevOps culture.
- Creating and managing CI / CD and data pipelines and deployment strategies together with software engineers.
- Set-up, maintain and audit the use of the internal tools (code repositories, issue trackers, etc).
- Drive continual improvement in monitoring, configuration management and automation.
- Exploiting the possibilities of Cloud infrastructures for stable and robust application designs for sales innovation initiatives of Festo.
- Coordinate and align requirements with Festo IT in terms of best practices, security and compliance.
- Being ultimately responsible for the correct operations of key infrastructure and driving strategic improvements to ensure scalability, robustness, reliability and security.
This is you :
- Never satisfied with the status quo, always eager to learn.
- Strong collaboration mindset and commitment to your team.
- Proven track record of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud and container services (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes), commercial software development and operation.
- Hands-on mentality, when it comes to scripting, coding and automating.
- Enthusiasm for Infrastructure as Code and CI / CD automation.
- Self-organized and solution-oriented work in internationally distributed teams and good communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken English. Spanish language skills are valued but nor required.
- Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or similar.
