Devops Engineer - Cyber Defense (F/M/D)

The Cyber Defense DevOps is a member of the Siemens Cyber Security Operation Center Organization, whose primary mission is to detect, analyze, investigate, and defend against cyber security threats.

You will be designing and implementing solutions with state-of-the-art tools capable of handling large volumes of data where scalability, consistency and security are key.

As a DevOps Engineer you will:

• Operate on-prem and cloud environments, this includes automation, monitoring, improvement.
• Implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
• Build tools to improve internal processes.
• Build and maintain APIs.
• Propose and conduct PoCs when appropriate.
• Work in international teams taking end-to-end responsibilities in requirements analysis, system design, development, integration and deployment.

What do you need to qualify for this job?

• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Puppet, Terraform, Gitlab, Ansible, etc.) and CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with DevSecOps (e.g., static code analyzers, linting tools, cloud best practices, etc.).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python programming language and Shell scripting languages.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Knowledge on database systems (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Understanding of system architectures is expected.
• Excellent problem analysis, debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to build up your technical knowledge.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with peers, partners, and customers.

• 
  Knowledge in API Gateways (e.g., AWS API GW, FastAPI).
