Job Purpose and Impact

The Digital Portfolio Lead will partner with our Digital, Technology and Data (DT&D) organizations to develop and deploy digital products and solutions to improve ease of doing business for customers and farmers, as well as drive cost to serve reduction through more efficient ways of working for the employees. In this role, you will enable and accelerate our business strategy “Cargill Agriculture Supply Chain (CASC) EMEA Horizon” and act as a collaborative partner within multiple teams to continuously improve customer and employee experience. You will understand customer and business needs, build internal stakeholder commitment, develop deployment roadmaps and partner collaboratively across the organization to jointly develop, launch and continuously improve our digital offerings.
This role is aligned to CASC EMEA Business Excellence Team, which includes Commercial Excellence, Strategic Marketing, Digital, Innovation and Business Development 

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver on the digital strategy execution in a dynamic business environment, building and influencing the wider digital community across the entire EMEA region 
  • Drive adoption of the CASC EMEA integrated Digital Portfolio of multiple employee and customer facing solutions, including internal tools, enabling business process improvement and external customer facing solutions
  • Partner with our Technology and Data teams to set clear priorities, expectations and outcomes
  • Together with the Business Excellence Team Lead, secure that the digital strategy is fully aligned with CASC Horizon strategy and Commercial Excellence strategy
  • Lead and develop a team of experienced professionals: coaching and making decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. Responsible for efficient organization of work, tasks and responsibilities within the team 
  • Own specific products, as well as Digital Portfolio development by continuous functionality enhancement and integration. Create the product backlog items and prioritize them based on the overall strategy and business objectives and map out project dependencies to inform the necessary sequence of development
  • Maintain appropriate governance through co-facilitating the Digital Steering Committee, composed of senior Business Leaders  
  • Track progress and deployment of solutions. Leverage analytics and user feedback to shape future opportunities and improvements
  • Accountable for budget alignment and deployment. Responsible for business cases development, including value generation calculation, alignment and reporting 
  • Cooperate, influence and partner with numerous business stakeholders in the regional and global roles (Commercial, Supply Chain, Finance, DT&D, Sustainability, Commercial Excellence, Legal, Compliance, others) to execute the digital strategy, leveraging project management and change management capabilities 
  • Ensure team’s visibility and best practice sharing through various communication channels, including Townhalls, newsletters, global forums, etc. 

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience
  • Experience leading change and communication with a large and diverse group of stakeholders
  • Experience facilitating teams and breaking down business requirements into deliverables
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or other post-secondary degree
  • Proven experience in program and change management in the complex, matrix business environment 
  • Stakeholder management skills, business value-driven mindset
  • Experience with the digital tools and customer portals
  • Three years of supervisory experience
  • Project management qualification
