Our team is seeking an Event Management Specialist who will take on the responsibility of orchestrating a variety of events, including conferences, tradeshows, and sales meetings across the EMEA region. Your role will be pivotal in both digital and in-person event planning, with a focus on elevating the effectiveness of our sales team and enhancing our operational performance.
Reporting to the Life Sciences EMEA Meetings & Events Manager, you will play a role in elevating our company's visibility and driving our sales growth. Your aim will be to consistently exceed the expectations of our team and customers through innovative and effective Event Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement event strategies, managing all phases from concept to completion, including post-event analysis.
Foster strong partnerships with internal partners and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
Drive innovation in marketing technology and event practices, focusing on improving customer engagement and sales results.
Administer and optimize our Marketing Concierge tool to assist commercial teams in implementing their event initiatives.
Manage and allocate event budgets efficiently, ensuring precise financial control.
Conduct thorough analysis of each event's performance, using insights to enhance and refine event strategies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Consistent track record to work with diverse teams and manage complex projects with strong organizational and project management skills.
Comprehensive knowledge of integrated marketing strategies, particularly in digital marketing, to effectively promote events.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
A creative and innovative approach, constantly seeking new methods and ideas to improve event outcomes.
Knowledge of virtual event platforms and technical production, with an ability to adapt to new technologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in event or project management, preferably in a similar industry.
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
Fluency in English is needed; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
