Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a dedicated technical producer and product manager to drive excellence for the team’s offerings. Collaborate with game teams and partner teams to ensure new features will help them excel in their work
- Provide hands-on senior-level technical direction for the team and provide direction by defining high-value, measurable goals
- Help the team define and maintain engineering standards and processes, including but not limited to coding guidelines, testing and release procedures
- Coordinate the support rotation and ensure customers receive help within our established SLAs
- Grow and mentor the team, earn their trust, advance their skills and their careers
- Work with team members and peers in both Central European and North American time zones.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years experience as a people manager, leading an engineering group
- Excellent presentation and communication skills; comfortable explaining technical topics to non-technical users
- Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership
- Ability to navigate complex scenarios with customers through the use of tact, conflict resolution, and bargaining skills
- Ability to lead under ambiguity, balancing multiple work-streams and priorities
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency with Web Development and its underlying Infrastructure : Frontend Development (React preferred), Backend Technology (Python / Go preferred), and Tools Development, Cloud (AWS)
- Experience running a team who works on projects and supports live services and products simultaneously
