ROLE OVERVIEW :
We are searching for an Environmental and Communication Intern to join our centralized EHS & Quality team for a 1 year assignment that will support the global environmental management project and associated communication and training.
This team is part of Greif’s Global Operations Group and can be a hybrid working arrangement, ideally located in the Netherlands but also could be based from our West Germany or Barcelona locations.
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW :
Greif’s Global Operations Group is a true global organisation that supports all internal operations and ensures the continuity of the business.
ROLE DETAILS :
Reporting to the EMEA and APAC Director of EHS, Quality & Compliance, this position would suit someone who is willing to act as Project Coordinator for a global environmental project, ensuring the development of the EMEA and APAC SHEQ network.

Coordinate activities in the environmental management project.
Undertake writing procedures, preparing training, workshops.
Develop monthly trainings in the form of small educational pieces (animations, one-pagers, videos).
Facilitate the development of the SHEQ network in EMEA & APAC.
Attends internship events and functions including but not limited to social networking events and roundtables.
Presents to Executive Leadership Team at the end of the internship.
REQUIREMENTS :
Completed or working towards a Bachelor’s degree in an environmental or related field.
Can demonstrate intellectual curiosity and a multi-cultural understanding.
A quick learner and effective communicator. Fluent English speaker.
Willing to travel internationally, as required.
