About the Role
Base Location : Flexible Spain, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key sites, which includes but is not limited to : - Bilbao, Madrid, Zaragoza and Santiago de Compostela.

This is an exciting new role within our European business and will play a vital part in our Net Zero commitment and ambitious growth strategy, come and help us
You will join a Renewables business that will lead activities across several Southern European countries with our major Hub in Spain.
The working environment will be international, diverse, inclusive and in growth mode. The main objectives are to develop, build and own renewable energy plants mainly Wind Technology but also Solar, Storage and Hydro across Europe to achieve our Net Zero commitments.
As Environmental Development Project Manager you will manage the renewable energy development process; end to end site identification, design, permitting, construction preparation and interaction with all internal and external stakeholders.
You will design and develop the technical specification, timeline, milestones and budget needed for allocated wind projects.
Your main accountabilities may include :
- Analysing environmental regulations and conditions of environmental impact statements.
- Preparing guides for the development of environmental impact studies and their supervision.
- Responding to environmental queries and reports from organizations and administrations.
- Managing the environmental monitoring plans in the construction and operation phase.
- Assessing the impact of environmental aspects in the plants both in the investment and in the operational phase
- Coordinating resources and monitors and reports progress and milestones regularly to all stakeholders.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have :
- Experience in a similar Project Manager role within a relevant commercial environment or industry, preferably Renewable Energy with a good understanding of Environmental Impact, Regulations and Governance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a full command of English (B2 level) and Spanish both written and verbal for reporting whilst additional French or Italian language skills would be desirable.
- Skills and competency on continuous improvement, project management whilst demonstrating initiative, proactivity and creativity both independently and as part of a wider team.
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office, AutoCad, GIS, and Google Earth
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as required by Projects.
