What you will do :
- Support the procurement manager in negotiating agreements with providers.
- Assess requirements and develop specifications for services, equipment and supplies to be purchased.
- Evaluate quotations, make selection recommendations and provide support in presenting those to senior management.
- Provide support in contracting process with selected suppliers, work together with legal and business owner teams.
- Work with the cross-functional teams to ensure contractual performance of suppliers and providers.
- Set up project plans for supplier selection.
- Support the IT, Finance and Operational teams in action plans to achieve the approved annual cost targets and budget.
- Responsible for compliance with the Purchasing Policy.
What you will need :
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics or Supply Chain Management or any equivalent education.
- Preferably 1 year of proven experience in purchasing goods or services, preferably in B2B market.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Business mindset and ability to synthesize information into recommendations
- Affinity to financial analysis.
- Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills.
- A self-motivated individual with demonstrated capacity for ownership, and responsibility.
- Ability to work independently with strong drive towards exceeding the set goals
- Advanced / negotiation level English.
- Flexibility to travel as required away from Head Office.
