Frontend Software Engineer

At HAYS we are collaborating with a leading company in the automotive sector, dedicated to the development of innovative digital solutions to improve the driving experience and offer connected services in the automotive field. Their approach ranges from digital mobility to the integration of advanced technologies into their vehicles. They have a team of around 200 experts working together in nine locations around the world. This allows them to address specific markets, recognize technology trends in advance and inspire talent around the world.We are looking for a Frontend Software Engineer to join their team and participate in a web development project.
What will your duties be?
- Work hands-on implementing their product using top-notch front-end and back-end technologies (Stencil, Vue.js, React.js, Node.js).
- Implement and maintain their software architecture for durability and quality.
- Develop new features alongside customer feedback and data.
- Work closely with the other teams in the Agile Release Train.
- Development and implementation of web interfaces, backend services, and APIs to existing services and integration of other ecosystem assets and capabilities.
- Strong focus on website performance (mobile and desktop), as well as accessibility.
- Work following the principles of DevOps with regards to writing maintainable code, reusability of infrastructure and components, and continuously deploying our software into test and productive environments.
- Persistent work to create and sustain premium quality and security of their product through modern quality tools and processes.
What are the requirements?
Proficient in English.
- More than 5 years´ experience in Software Engineering.
- Master´s degree in Software Engineering, information technology, or alike.
- Proficient knowledge of JavaScript (preferably TypeScript), with a focus on front-end.
- Ability to develop resilient cloud-first applications (ideally on AWS).
- Knowledge of software security standards, threat assessment and secure programming methodologies.
- Experience with API management systems and can write API-first services.
- Experience with modern CMS (Forms, Content Hub, Adobe Experience Manager).
