What you will do
You will take part of our amazing Software-Development Team that helps us with the Front End development of our multi-site platform, while being an operational enabler for the rest of the organization.
As a Front End Engineer, you are going to be responsible for supply to designing the architecture of our Front-end Cover Wallet Products and participate in code reviews, identify and apply best-practices for software development, as well as provide technical guidance and hands-on experience in software development.
Mentor other junior engineers.
A typical day
Planning and developing front-end and back-end features with your team.
Working with the UX and Product teams in the Discovery process to develop extraordinary solutions.
Lead code reviews and share knowledge to cultivate a culture of continuous learning within the development team.
Working to improve the application performance, scalability, maintainability in a new product that is using a modern tech stack including EDA, OpenAPI, MongoDB, Apollo GraphQL, React.
js, Next.js, and Nest.js.
Working with your teammates to define ADRs and implement architectural best-practices.
Act as a technical liaison, facilitating communication between the tech team and other teams : product, design, data and operations.
Working in your team to continuously improve processes so that we can focus our time on building great software and not dealing with interruptions, excessive planning meetings, etc.
What you need to succeed
3 to 5 years as a Full Stack Engineer working software engineering environments
From static design to Production running code
Demonstrated UI design and UX sensibilities
Responsive design, mobile-first
JavaScript & React coder
Cross-browser compatibility issues knowledge, client-side performance
Other JS libraries are a plus
Strong Computer Science fundamentals
Advanced proficiency in Node.js and server-side JavaScript development.
Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
Experience with the newest JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Nest.js
Team-player, really motivated with technical challenges
Time management skills
Open contributor, collaborator and team-player
Autonomous learner
Proactive on taking.ownership
English proficiency is a must
